(1) No amendment shall be made in the details mentioned in the passport or travel permit issued in accordance with this regulation.

(2) Whatever is written in sub-rule (1) However, if any details mentioned in the passport or travel permit need to be amended, the passport or travel permit holder must submit an application showing the reason for that purpose. If any amendment has to be made to the prepared passport due to the fact that it has been lost or some details have been omitted, a new passport can be issued by collecting the fee as per schedule-4.

(4) Application received under sub-rule (2) or (3). A new passport or travel permit can be issued if it is deemed appropriate to issue a new passport or travel permit along with the amendment.
